Modelling and Software Development of Random Porosity Field Model for Mortar Phase

Random field methods are often used to characterize heterogeneous random materials, such as concrete and mortar. In the mesoscale random aggregate model of concrete, mortar is usually considered as homogeneous, and the influence of non-uniform distribution such as micropores is ignored. To characterize the heterogeneity of mortar, a random porosity field function was developed in the MissCM based on the Lognormal distribution and autocorrelation function. The GUI and some results of this software are shown in Figure 1.
